2024 - Group Music Therapy Program
Under the Banyan Tree Community Outreach Group Music Program:
Under the Banyan Tree Centre is offering a Group Music Therapy Program to the public free of charge. This Group Music Therapy Program is eligible to individuals over 21 years old with developmentally challenges living in the Greater Toronto Area and York Region.
What can music therapy do for the participant?
This Group Music Therapy Program is conducted by a board-certified music therapist and the Program has 8 one- hour sessions taking place over 8 weeks starting January 18, 2025.
The Group Music Therapy Program will accept 20 participants and they will be assigned equally into Group A and Group B. Session for Group A starts at 1pm on Saturday while session for Group B starts at 2:30pm on Saturday.

Individual interested in this program must submit their complete registration form and waiver agreement by January 10, 2025 by email to [email protected] or drop off at our Centre at 43 Ferrier Street, Markham.
Under the Banyan Tree Centre will review all applications and select the applicants based on their compatibility within each group. Incomplete registration form and/or waiver agreement will not be processed.
Accepted applicants to the Group Music Therapy Program will be notified by phone or email.

小組音樂治療計劃由董事會認證的音樂治療師進行，該計劃從 2025 年 1 月 18 日開始，在 8 周內進行 8 次一小時的課程。
小組音樂治療計劃將接受20名參與者，他們將被平等分配到A組和B組. A組的課程於週六下午1點開始，而B組的課程於周六下午2點半開始。
